GAGB Logo Usage Policy

Conditions of Use:

The following conditions are applied to the use of the GAGB Logo:

• Permission is hereby granted to Members of the GAGB to use the logo as provided here on condition it shows the GAGB in a positive nature.
• The logo may not be modified.
• When used on a website, the logo must provide a link to the GAGB website (https://www.gagb.org.uk)
• When used on hard copy, the web address must be given (https://www.gagb.org.uk).
• Use by commercial entities, whether on a website or in hardcopy must be by permission only. Please email the committee.
• The GAGB retain the right to withdraw permission to use the logo where it is felt that such use is detrimental or undesirable.

For Web Use:

All three of the images below are suitable for use on a website. They are already optimised for smallest file size.

Please make them link back to the GAGB website.

To download these images: Right Click on the logo you want, and select 'Save image as...'.

For Geocache Pages:

The HTML code below can be copied and pasted into the 'Short Description' or the 'Long Description' box. The system will automatically render the text properly and clicking the link will take people to the GAGB website. Make sure that you tick the box to say 'The descriptions below are in HTML'.

Instructions:

1. From the samples below, press the 'Copy' button to copy the code.
2. Log in and open one of your geocache pages. Select 'Edit' in the top right.
3. Scroll to the Description text boxes and 'Paste' the code into the appropriate location.
   Tip: hold down the <CTRL> key and press <V> on your keyboard to paste the text.
   
4. 'Tick' the box to say 'The descriptions below are in HTML'
5. Click 'Submit Changes' button at the bottom.
6. On the next page which appears, select 'View Listing' to check to see that your geocache page looks OK.
