The National Trust Scotland are supportive of geocaching but you must get permission before placing a cache on their land. Contact details for NTS are on their website - click here.
Geocaching is NOT allowed on the Culzean Estate which is a site of special scientific interest (SSSI), and also In the area of Drum Castle Woods. See the entries in the Not Permitted section for maps and detail.
