Albin Smith is responsible for all the Forestry Commission woodlands in the Peak District, which are in the Goyt Valley and the Upper Derwent Valley, including Snake Woodlands, parts of Alport, and others which can be seen on the new OS maps. He also covers Matlock Moor, Cromford/Black Rocks and Shining Cliff (at Ambergate), all in Derbyshire, and Wharncliffe Woods near Stocksbridge, S. Yorks.,
Follow the normal Forestry Commission guidelines when placing the cache then apply direct to Albin with full details, including an OS grid reference. Once permission has been obtained mention it in a Note to Reviewer when submitting your cache for review.
