Geocaches must be placed adjacent to public rights of way and in line with GAGB guidelines listed here. Geocaches remain the responsibility of the placer for maintenance and removal when required.
Geocaches may not be permitted on some land where Yorkshire Water has tenants or has granted mineral or sporting rights or rights are owned by a 3rd party; Yorkshire Water does not own all the land on which it operates and therefore may not be in a position to grant permission.
Applications should include OS grid reference, a description of the location and ideally a photo of the location. This should be sent to geoff.d.lomas@yorkshirewater.co.uk. Geocaches must not be placed until permission is granted.
