Summary:
April 24 by Haggis Hunter
Another successful CITO event, and that is thanks to all those who have taken the time to come along and take part. Very nice to see the usual faces and of course those new faces that turned up as well.

Nice to meet so many like minded people, and to see some familiar faces. Strange activity where a big pile of rubbish means a success. And I keep learning new things through geocaching – like it is much easier to push a filled wheelbarrow when the tyre is not competely flat; thanks to the young cacher from Finland who helped me out.

Our first CITO and we thoroughly enjoyed doing our bit for the community with the local cachers. Helping the Water of Leith Conservation Trust by cleaning that stretch of the river was quite rewarding. We were all amazed to see the large pile of rubbish we had collectively gathered. Also. it was great to meet new people, put faces to handle names and share some caching experiences. Finishing at the Tanners pub was ideal and thanks HH for organising that well run event.
Cheers,
Carangue (x 3 !)

What next:
Haggis Hunter organises a yearly event either in April or May to clean a stretch of the Water of Leith up.
