Summary:
The CITO event was carried out in conjunction with the Friends of Thringstone, which is a village group involved in improving the environment and village life of Thringstone.
On the day, we collected rubbish from around the village and Sustrans trail no 52 and then returned to the community centre where the Friends of Thringstone had provided jacket potatoes for lunch. Including babies in buggies we had 22 people attending including 8 geocaching teams (12 Geocachers) , collecting 39 bags of rubbish, a fence panel, bicycle and tyre (thrown in the brook).
What next:
We may try to arrange a similar event next year depending on the views of local cachers and the Friends of Thringstone.
