Subject to the usual requirement, permission must be sought from the site manager, prior to establishing the cache. The agreement must be confirmed in writing.
General permission has been granted to place caches on Cheshire East Council land with prior permission only.
Geocaches are not permitted on Sites of Special Scientific Interest eg Lindow Common, Wilmslow.
Also should a geocache cause additional problems, Cheshire East Council have the right to remove the cache from the location.
